I will be joining forces in a set of improvising with Portland's own multi-instrumentalist Machado Mijiga! I'm quite excited about this, as he and I have yet to even MEET, in person (though we're each quite familiar with the other's work). This show will be one of a a few appearances that I will make in Portland during this week, as part of a long-running yearly jazz and improvised music festival (CMG's Improvisation Summit of Portland, to be precise), in which I will be one of the featured out-of-town guests (in addition to David Torn!).
